I’m glad you liked that episode! Did you watch the first episode I did with him? Here’s a link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjBU_akqFrA
No I haven’t join his discord; I don’t really go on discord. I don’t have any plans to run his line at the moment. I have a bunch of a few different organic fertilizer blends that I’ve been working through. Maybe after that i’ll try it. I’m pretty sure Rob and Pigeons both haven’t tried it either so we wouldn’t be able to say much about it really.

mrgrowitKeymasterGlad to see they made a recovery!
mrgrowitKeymasterComing along pretty good! I know cameras can be deceiving but is that interveinal chlorosis?

mrgrowitKeymasterWhat is the pH and PPM of the soil runoff?
9 times out of 10, a picture isn’t enough to determine what is wrong with a plant. A lot of background information is needed. You could include more info mentioned in this post and it will prevent a lot of back and forth asking clarifying questions: https://mrgrowit.com/forums/topic/read-me-first/mrgrowitKeymasterAs long as you feel air circulation is sufficient across the entire grow space then the 12-hours on, 12-hours off rotation you mention should be fine. I actually heard some people doing that in order to help increase the fan lifespan.
mrgrowitKeymasterSorry for the delayed response. Only a 6-month warranty makes it something I personally would avoid. Also doesn’t appear to have any safety certifications like ETL or UL listed which is a big concern. I didn’t think you were legally able to sell electronics without safety certifications. I know commercial facilities can’t use grow lights that don’t have any safety certifications. They also don’t provide a PAR map which is another thing worth noting. Since a grow light is arguable the most important piece of equipment, I’d go with a more trustworthy brand that offers at least a 1-year warranty; most offer a 3 or 5-year warranty.
mrgrowitKeymasterI was typing my response and then read your post from the 16th after; it lined up with my thoughts! I was going to say, it looks like it’s just that one branch impacted since the other branches and other plants look fine. I was then going to ask if that branch is next to a fan or any other piece of equipment – which you mention it is. I also think it’s wind burn/stress. Rotating your plant daily or moving the fan so it’s not blasting onto that branch should definitely help it. Easy fix! I’m glad it’s nothing major. Plants look good otherwise. Nice job!

mrgrowitKeymasterThanks for including all of the details. It makes it a lot easier to diagnose. Just about everything you mention seems to be on point. Temp, humidity, pH all look fine. The PPM of 1100 you mention, are you using a 500 scale or 700 scale PPM meter? If using a 500 scale, you may just have a hungry plant and could potentially increase the feeding to upwards of 1600 PPM. Reading your initial post, did you only apply the CalMag as a foliar once or have you also been doing a soil drench throughout the grow? Reading your second post from the 17th it sounds like you are aware and taking steps to resolve.
I can’t confirm the pest that you mention but here is some more info on thrips:

https://mrgrowit.com/post/spider-mites-on-cannabis-plants/mrgrowitKeymaster👏Great job Cam! I can only imagine the delicious smells in that tent right now lol
mrgrowitKeymasterThanks for the additional info! Maybe I’ll try it sometime.
mrgrowitKeymasterI actually switched over to the Cannatrol in December. Hopefully I won’t have to dry in a tent again lol. But the limited capacity on the Cannatrol makes it so I will have to do scattered harvests or else I will have to dry in a tent again.
Scott from HerbsNow reached out to me about his dryer. Looks interesting! I am about the harvest my last two plants and won’t have another harvest until the end of the year so I won’t be able to try it out anytime soon. Do you use that dryer now?
I did take a deeper look into it. The listing doesn’t say what the capacity is; any idea how much it can hold? It’s unfortunate that there is no temperature control. It just says, “We purposely do not have a temperature control button on the unit to ensure that the unit stays within the optimal temperature range for drying “… It makes me wonder what temp they have it set to – since they don’t specify.
I live in a dry climate where the normal RH is about 30% in the summer and even lower in the winter. On the listing it says “For areas with less than 40% humidity we recommend using the HerbsNOW Moisture Shot. ” … Looks like it holds water in there to help regulate the RH, similar to how the Cannatrol uses a sponge.
Interesting stuff! I’ll stay tuned to see what other people are reporting about using it.
mrgrowitKeymasterI’m glad she’s still looking good after the split! I’ve split stems more times than I can count lol. Luckily most have recovered without issues
