KeymasterThis post was stuck in pending; sorry about that. I don’t know why that happens. I believe you created this post back in December. Do you still need help with this?

KeymasterInteresting. Got a pic of the entire tent and another pic of just that one plant? It sounds like you’re doing everything right and so maybe this plant is a heavier feeder, or the plant could have a virus or viroid. Maybe the pictures will help us identify something.

KeymasterQ1. I’d LST and last resort prune off the branch if it’s in jeopardy of being too close to the light. I’ve had a plant throw nanners before since the plant had one main branch that I couldn’t LST and it was only 8″ from the light. It sucked big time so now I won’t hesitate to prune off a branch or two if it means the rest of the plant will be better.
Q2. I typically look to prune one last time at day 21 of flower. Although sometimes within flowering, buds will form down there still so I find myself randomly plucking them off in flower.

KeymasterCan we get some more info? Are you in soil or coco? If soil, what brand? Did you amend in any fertilizer before planting? What size container?
One of the biggest contributing factors to the plant showing deficiencies is the soil being too wet or too dry. Do you have a moisture meter? If not, can you tell us how you go about watering and determining if the soil is moist enough or not?

KeymasterI’m assuming you have the mixture in a reservoir; is that correct? Are you using a mixer or air stones? Also, what nutrient lineup are you using?

KeymasterSounds like you have a good plan there. Good luck! If the plants stretch like crazy, you may want to consider a 2nd layer net.

KeymasterIf the plants are small, such as seedlings, then the air in the 4×4 doesn’t need to be changed as often as large plants that fill up the 4×4 wall-to-wall. A general recommendation is to exchange the air every 1-5 minutes. Although, some people go longer than that and still get good growth. Hope that helps

KeymasterThis is a good question and I personally don’t have much knowledge on using carbonated water. Although, I do have an expert coming onto my podcast in the upcoming month and I have wrote this down as a question for him. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you; maybe someone else on this forum does.

KeymasterDifficult to tell you for sure since we don’t know how much is in your medium right now. Both calcium and magnesium are needed throughout the plants life; but if you have enough in the medium already then you could potentially cut it off 1-2 weeks before harvest. Any idea what the PPM is?

KeymasterAbsolutely. Not sure when the next revision will be though.
Yeah this city is getting more and more crowded. Traffic is nuts and construction is always slowing things down. Oh well

Keymaster500 scale in the book; I need to specify that in the next version. In general, 500 scale for North America and 700 scale is mostly used in Europe. I totally get what you mean where it can get lost in translation. EC would definitely make it less confusing lol

KeymasterYeah it typically shows up on the top, newer growth first and then works its way down the plant.

KeymasterGreat question. I can’t tell you for sure but if you feel toxins are on the plant from this then it’s probably best to not consume.

KeymasterComing along pretty good so far. What nutrient line are you using?

KeymasterHey thanks for stopping by the forum! Check out pages 76, 78, 94, & 97 of the book for a breakdown of exactly what you’re asking for 🙂
