Not true. Less light will help preserve more terpenes from off gassing, but more light will help increase oil production. A shorter light cycle can help plants finish faster though.

Generally speaking, yes. The bigger the stems, the more sap is moving through the branch. Thicker stems lead to larger buds at harvest. That’s not to say strains are identical though. You can grow 2 types side by side and have one with smaller stems than the other but larger buds. It’s very genetic dependent. Now if you have 2 clones of the same plant, and one has larger stems than the other then the one with larger stems will have bigger buds if all other variables are the same.

If you are running hps lights, they tend to make plants stretch. So you basically have a stretchy strain growing under a spectrum that causes more stretching. Nothing wrong with that, just might make them a bit gangly looking.

It’s the little mountain with the sun in the square. Unchecked the box about proportion constraints.

I’m so sorry for your circumstances. Chris can probably offer you the most help on all these subjects. Unfortunatly, good seeds generally aren’t cheap and cheap ones aren’t good. As far as equipment, check the links for his videos, he has several discounts for most essential products. Of all the lights, I would say go with a spider farmer light for quality and performance. A/C infinity fans are worth the money. I can understand your financial situation and would suggest weighing the 1 time expense of quality products vs inferior products you may need to replace. I personally like brown bag seeds. I have been eyeballing robinhood seeds genetics recently also. I wish you the best on your journey. If I can provide any more assistance please feel free to reach out. I’m sure Chris will pop in some time soon.

Not particularly. As I’m sure you know being a bee keeper, honey has antimicrobial properties.

I’m sure local sources for the same materials are probably avaliable in your region, though prices may differ drastically.
