I will try to keep an eye for updates. Caterpillars suck but that one looks awesome. Looks like moth eggs on the leaf.
CamZModeratorRunoff ppm is important. Runoff ph isn’t, unless your ph is like drastically off like 3 or 10. Ppm is important because it tells you if the plants are leaving salts behind or using them. If the ppms are high feed less. If ppms are low feed more. I would personally measure ph and ppm before I water. If your ppm is lower than 1000-1200 then you should feed more if you’re seeing necrosis type yellowing. You would increase all of them together, I’m guessing by adding an extra 20% you should be good.
CamZModeratorA 2×4 is the best bet for you then. 2 in top zone, 2 or 3 in the bottom. Takes up the least amount of space for what you want.
You could cut branches and pack a 2×2 if money is an issue though.
CamZModeratorDon’t try to adjust the runoff ppm, just adjut the input. If your issue persists then you need to flush. The plants the look yellow from the bottom up are nitrogen deficient. I would suggest you up your ppms to 1200 for the plants who will take it. Flower is generally between 800-1400 ppm for most mixes. Running plants under the sun, I would go to the higher end personally.
The plants can adjust their ph a little bit anyway.
CamZModeratorNoticed mine took off after application as well. Roughly twice as big as last week. Excited to see if there is any impact late flower. I suspect that mycorizea and bacteria still attach to roots and provide secondary metabolites as the root mass gets larger.
I feel like many people think these colonies can’t form in hydro because of the constant movement, but root balls can get quite dense. I think some colonies still exist, perhaps not in an ideal environment, but life generally makes a way. If they do attach as I suspect, they still provide immune health to the plant despite their lack of function for delivering nutrients. They still make these root zone secretions, altering ph in the rizosphere. Just my 2 cents. I’m no botanist though.
CamZModeratorWelcome back jd!
CamZModeratorAre you hanging whole or cutting branches?
CamZModeratorLooking great!
My own experiment. Running low ppm+ stash blend/ro water mixture. Killing it right now.
CamZModeratorMoonlight doesn’t supplement growth. It’s not copied indoors because light leaks indoors cause herming. Dr. Bugbee has done testing on photosensitivity in plants. I believe cannabis is the most sensitive plant they have tested for light sensitivity. Think poinsettias are number 2.
CamZModeratorIt’s a cyber security thing. For all I know that link is malicious. Again, no disrespect. It’s trained into me, sorry if that offends you.
CamZModeratorNgl. I have no faith in being redirected, no disrespect. Perhaps someone else can help. Sorry.
CamZModeratorFrom the picture, which doesn’t show leaves very well, it looks like classic nitrogen deficiency with perhaps a touch of calcium deficiency.
You should correct ph asap. Not something to wait on.
CamZModerator<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hard to know what else is going on without ppm/ph/feeding schedule info. You have mag deficiency 100%, but whether it’s due to lockout or underfeeding is hard to determine without that info.</p>
CamZModeratorHeard Mr. Grow It talking about your experiment on fts yesterday. I’m conducting a similar test. What is your method of application if you don’t mind me asking?
I ended up making 1400ml slurry mixture with 8oz of stash blend. Shook it a couple times a day for about a week with filters for air exchange. Been adding it at 2ml per gallon after base nutrents/which I’m only feeding at around 600ppm currently.
Noticed a bump in growth since application.
Ran a satchet of recharge the week before with no noticeable change other than making my res and roots very dark. Had the free sample from AC Infinity.
Cheers!

Those won’t yeild anything by the time they are done if they already had preflowers. Sometimes I just take plants like that and chuck them outside with no supervision. You’d be surprised how they end up.
