Thank you Chris, I do remember that one now and will go back to rewatch. Notice I added to the trellis net which came with the tent. I remember from your video with Troy “Northern Scrogger” about 8 months ago and used some masonry line to make the holes smaller…great tip!!
ps Also a cat guy…currently fostering 6 plus a few of our own 🙂
Marko in MDParticipantOne more pic, Orange Bud strain in veg week #6 – 24 hours after moving to 7 gal from 3 gal. Light dimmer at 80% 23″ up, Temp 73f RH 46%.
Marko in MDParticipantThank you again!! I just absorb as much information as I can from you, and a couple other growers on YT put it all together, sorted it all out and… Ta Da! Couldn’t have gotten this far without all the content you guys put out, and the help you give here. It took two weeks for the roots to fill that 3 gal pot from a 1 gal, and I just put it in a 7 gal…hope it’s big enough. Guessing she’ll be drinking up pretty quick once she fills the new pot, so I’ll be watching for signs letting me know it’s time to feed again. Here she is this morning…
Marko in MDParticipantMarko in MDParticipantTransplanted into a 7 gal pot from a 3 gal. This is week 6 of veg, will flip to flower in two weeks.
Marko in MDParticipantI’m just starting as well, but from what I understand, as long as the (guessing soil?) is not to dry to transplant, I would transplant and give it just a little water to dampen, then a full water/feed first thing in the morning. If it’s really dry and droopy, water/feed now and transplant in a day or two. Transplanting is stressful, don’t want to move an already stressed plant.
Marko in MDParticipantMarko in MDParticipantTransplanted the Orange Bud into a 7 gal pot from a 3 gal today. Today is week 6 of Veg, seed bank says plant can reach 42″, and it’s currently 18″. Flipping her to flower in two weeks, then 7 or 8 weeks of flower.
Marko in MDParticipantSorry for jumping in…my 2×4 tent is in my basement and I was having a 10%+ humidity jump at night when light went out. Bought a dehumidifier yesterday, set it for 55% and last night I had no major humidity jump inside the tent. I also raised the light intensity, so that might have helped as well, but even after lights out it was good, only a 5% change. This also raised the temperature in the tent, so watch for that if you’re already where you want to be. My dehumidifier is 6 feet away from the tent in a 830 sqft basement, and it’s been very wet down here in Maryland the last few days too. Hope this helps, it seemed to work for me, or raising the lights did, either way, happy growing!
Marko in MDParticipantThank you! I’m still learning to read the leaves, and the curled edge of that one fan leaf and all the yellow tips was concerning so I wasn’t sure if it was light or nutrients, but was thinking it was nutrients.
Planning on transplanting her to final 7 gal pot in a couple days, then the next watering I’ll go back to my half measurements of nutrients. I hear of growers with this light at 80% and 18-24 inches up, which is not where I have mine. The seed bank posted “for best results, the recommended lighting is a minimum of 600W HPS/LED”. Based on the SF spec sheet, my light is only 500w HPS, so should it be turned up?
She is in week 6 of veg, any thoughts of my lighting height or power setting based on what the plant looks like?
Marko in MDParticipantFan motor might not be very happy with that.
