You can but there will be restricted airflow.
mrgrowitKeymasterSounds like you’re doing the dry and cure correctly. That’s very strange that there is no effect for you. Do you have a super high tolerance or what? lol. I used MSNL for many years and never had any issues like that. Might be time to try out some new genetics
mrgrowitKeymasterI’m glad growth ended up becoming normal. Nice root structure you got there!
mrgrowitKeymasterOh wow that’s a bummer. What cultivars were they? Maybe they were actually CBD strains? How did you dry? How did you cure? At what point did you smoke after harvest?
mrgrowitKeymasterYou mention “swelling” on the plant. What exactly do you mean by that? You posted that pic 12 days ago; how does the plant look now? Got an updated pic?
mrgrowitKeymasterI get asked this question a lot so I made a list of my picks of the best LED grow lights for a 5×5 grow space. See them here: https://mrgrowit.com/post/best-led-grow-lights-5×5-coverage-area/
mrgrowitKeymasterIf there are trichomes on the leaves they can be used to make oil or butter. There is a large number of other things that you can do with the leaves such as make smoothies out of them or simply compost them. We actually filmed an episode on From The Stash about utilizing the whole plant which will give you some more ideas. Here’s a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy7y6V_niWw
mrgrowitKeymasterThat’s a bummer. Unfortunately the company closed down so they aren’t servicing the lights anymore. I haven’t heard of people having problems with it.
mrgrowitKeymasterLots more information is needed in order to properly diagnose. Read this post so you know what to include:
mrgrowitKeymasterGood insight @camz .. Wow only $400 you got one for? That sounds like a great deal!
mrgrowitKeymasterSorry for the delayed response. So looks like it’s an average of about 12ppm of sodium. You said your overall PPM is 100-200, so if it’s 100 then 12% of that is sodium. If 200 then 6% of that is sodium.
I’m no expert when it comes to water testing so I’d like to refer you to the Soil Doctor, Bryant Mason. He’s be able to give you much more insight than I can. Here’s his website: https://www.soildoctorconsulting.com/
mrgrowitKeymasterLet me know what else you want to know. Maybe a dedicated Q&A video with Cannatrol questions only would be good. Thanks for the suggestion.
mrgrowitKeymasterIt’s in the description and in a pinned comment. Here’s what it says since you missed it, “Since the buds are held at a steady temperature and humidity, cannabinoids and terpenes are kept – and not volatized. The buds also retain their stickiness. I take a bag out of the Cannatrol and the smell is evident after just a few minutes. Also, when I grind up the bud, I get hit hard with the terp profile. I’ve had buds in it for 6 months and they are still green – not browning like what happens if you store in room temperature or higher. Taste is also still there. I’ve had so many jars of bud over the years become so bland due to room-temp storage and terpenes volatizing. It’s awesome that the buds still have their taste, smell, and color after so many months.”
mrgrowitKeymasterWhat timer are you using? Have you confirmed that the timer is not defective?
mrgrowitKeymasterFunny you asked about it because I’m actually editing it as we speak. The company told me not to release it in April since they were having worldwide supply chain issues. I’m going to reach back out to them to see if I’m good to release it.
