Difficult to tell you for sure since we don’t know how much is in your medium right now. Both calcium and magnesium are needed throughout the plants life; but if you have enough in the medium already then you could potentially cut it off 1-2 weeks before harvest. Any idea what the PPM is?
mrgrowitKeymasterAbsolutely. Not sure when the next revision will be though.
Yeah this city is getting more and more crowded. Traffic is nuts and construction is always slowing things down. Oh well
mrgrowitKeymaster500 scale in the book; I need to specify that in the next version. In general, 500 scale for North America and 700 scale is mostly used in Europe. I totally get what you mean where it can get lost in translation. EC would definitely make it less confusing lol
mrgrowitKeymasterYeah it typically shows up on the top, newer growth first and then works its way down the plant.
December 15, 2023 at 5:25 pm in reply to: Lamp caught on fire inside tent, are my plants toxic now? #3269mrgrowitKeymasterGreat question. I can’t tell you for sure but if you feel toxins are on the plant from this then it’s probably best to not consume.
mrgrowitKeymasterComing along pretty good so far. What nutrient line are you using?
mrgrowitKeymasterHey thanks for stopping by the forum! Check out pages 76, 78, 94, & 97 of the book for a breakdown of exactly what you’re asking for 🙂
mrgrowitKeymasterIs that the pH and PPM of the water or nutrient solution going in or the runoff measurement?
mrgrowitKeymasterImpossible for me to tell you for sure, but out of 13 years of growing, I’ve never had a plant stretch more than 3x. I think we talked about the different factors of stretch in another thread if I remember correctly.
mrgrowitKeymasterI made a whole review video on it talking about what I like and also what I don’t like. Here’s a link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ORfDg5Tndc
mrgrowitKeymasterYeah hard to say for sure. Do you happen to know the flowering time? In general, you should see less stretch for 8-week cultivars vs longer flowering cultivars such as 10, 11, or 12+ week cultivars.
mrgrowitKeymasterPeople ask me that question all the time. It is very expensive. I’m not happy with the price, but I am happy with the product.
mrgrowitKeymaster9 times out of 10, a picture isn’t enough to determine what is wrong with a plant. A lot of background information is needed. Here’s a list of information to include so we can properly diagnose: https://mrgrowit.com/forums/topic/read-me-first/
December 9, 2023 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Natures Living Soil original concentrate- any experience? #3230mrgrowitKeymasterI haven’t used it but I can give some input which may be helpful. Natures Living Soil original concentrate is labeled as a “super soil” which means you should be able to get through the entire grow cycle without having to add any additional fertilizer. The instructions say to mix the 5-lb bag with 25-gal of media. One thing they don’t mention with this is the recommended container size. If you use this mix and load up the soil into 1, 3, or even 5gal containers then you will most likely run out of nutrients. Many would suggest 7-gal containers as the minimum size for this to work successfully. Others may say 10-gal at the minimum and there are some people out there that will say even larger. So if you do try this, make sure you’re using a big enough container.
mrgrowitKeymasterLots more information is needed in order to properly diagnose. Read this post so you know what to include:
