So they have been growing for about 65 days. I’d say that’s basically in-line with normal growth. Many things contribute to growth though so it’s hard to give a firm answer. Lighting, environment, nutrition, and genetics are the main contributing factors. You could have many different genetics in the same grow space, same lighting, and same nutrients, but they end up being different sizes; that could very well be due to genetics.

With FFOF (Fox Farm Ocean Forest) soil, they won’t need any additional nutrients until roughly 20-40 days of the plants life, depending on what size container they are in. If they were in 1gal containers, then nutrients would deplete faster than if they were in 5gal containers. From my experience, I’ve been able to get away with waiting 30-40 days when using FFOF soil in 5gal grow pots.

Do you see any anthers (often referred to as nanners) coming out of any of the buds? Often times they are either coming out of the top buds or they are coming out of the bottom of the lower buds. Those release pollen and could very well be the culprit. Yes, one plant producing anthers could release pollen to all of the plants in the same grow space.

This is a debated topic. Some consider the seedling stage part of veg, so they count the days from sprout. Others will consider the first 2-3 weeks the seedling stage and will then start counting veg days after that. I wish there was a clear answer but unfortunately there really isn’t a set standard that all growers go by.

Question: If my PPM is high before I add nutrients . Is there a good way to lower it?
Answer: If your water has a high PPM to begin (before adding nutrients), there’s not a whole lot you can do. One thing would be to dilute it with some sort of filtered water that you know has a lower ppm. For example if you tap water comes out at 250ppm, and you add in some RO water that comes on at 20ppm, well then the overall solution will end up being a lower ppm than what comes straight out of your tap. Hope that makes sense.

What exactly do you mean by planting kit? Are you talking about an entire grow tent setup or are you talking just for germination?

Good question! Although its generally said that the ideal PPFD for flowering is 600-900 PPFD, plants will still flower and grow decent buds at a lower PPFD. So you getting 550 PPFD should be sufficient. It’s hard for me to say yes or no for “keeping the lights on full blast that close to the canopy during flower”. You may just want to try it and then increase the light distance if you are seeing problems.

66-73% isn’t a very big swing. Powdery mildew is most at risk when you have high humidity (generally above 60%) and a lack of airflow. I’ve had swings from 30%-60% and the plant takes it. Sure, it’s not ideal, but the plant will still grow.

Yeah that part of GT118 sums it up pretty good. Basically YouTube suppresses cannabis content. Also it can’t be monetized.
