Welcome to the forum! Beautiful plants you have there. To answer your question, that is an error in the book which is in the process of being corrected. Here is the corrected version of the soil recipes which has been revised to show cups and tablespoons instead of parts. Some ingredients have also been updated. This should make it more clear for the reader.

mrgrowitKeymasterThanks for the suggestion! I’m not familiar with him so what are some good questions that you think I should ask him which will get the conversation flowing?
mrgrowitKeymasterTo me it looks like symptoms of overwatering. Here’s more info:

mrgrowitKeymasterI used to dry in the 70-75°F range with 50-55% RH and I found it dried a little too quickly for my liking. Since then I’ve liked 60% RH at 60-70°F range better. I don’t like going over a 7-day dry since I learned a lot about yeast and mold growth.
Here are a few podcast episodes that go deep into drying & curing. They have a lot of good modern info in them:

If you keep the plants in coco without nutrients in it, they will eventually show signs of deficiencies. How long that takes will depend on growth. It should be fine in the long run since the other coco that you will be transplanting into is buffered.

mrgrowitKeymasterThat’s a good question. I don’t know anyone who checks the trichomes after harvest. We know if it’s dried or stored in light then trichomes will degrade over time but I don’t think we know how long that takes.
mrgrowitKeymasterHey idiomkrone thanks for stopping by and thanks for your positive words. I hope all has been well with you. Cheers!
mrgrowitKeymasterEverything looks good there. I don’t see anything to worry about.

mrgrowitKeymasterMaybe nanners showed and self-pollinated the plant? If that was the case, then it’s generally recommended you don’t use those seeds.
mrgrowitKeymaster1. Consider running your lights at night. I do a 12/12 light cycle 6pm on 6am off. I try not to veg in the hot summer months if possible, but if I am running an 18/6 veg light cycle, I do 6pm on 12pm off.
2. Central Air Conditioning, or many run window AC units. If you have the money, consider a mini split.
3. Add a humidifier to increase the RH which will slightly lower the temp. -
