Have not tried it. However I like putting seedlings or fresh cuts into gentle soil mix with some better soil below it in a dixie cup.
Also their website vaguely says add their mix to “potting soil”. Saying “potting soil” is an extremely loose term that could cover a huge variety of products; all that would act differently to their product.
Bigger the pot, the less hassle.. IMO
I use some of these products and follow the methods outlined in their Youtube.

This is a wealth of information when deciding to transition to soil. The whole youtube series is helpful even for experienced growers.
Hoss_BeardmanParticipantGenetics. Good plants can take a beating and still produce dense quality nugs.
Also keep in mind we all do the best with what we have. I try to not invest large amounts of money into lighting and throw away soils and nutrients.
Reducing the number of flowering nodes to 7 or less per branch will reduce the light undergrowth (LARF) and focus energy in your canopy.
Hoss_BeardmanParticipantImpressive
Hoss_BeardmanParticipantAre you running a monocrop or have you got different plants? Seeds of the same strain can vary in size, stretch, consumption of nutrients and a bunch of other things.
Sometimes a plants just requires more feeding then others. There’s a chance it was overwatered and stunted at a crucial time.
Switch to real no till soil and throw the nutrient lines away.
Hoss_BeardmanParticipantWhat size pot? What’s your setup and nutrients?
