I had heard of VPD but hadn’t used it, I will try using it instead of just temp and Rh on my next grow. Thanks for the responses and insight. Happy growing

Thanks so much for the responses and info I greatly appreciate it. My medium is 3/4 fox farm happy frog soil, 1/4 hydra peat moss with perlite and worm castings added. I added the peat moss to help the happy frog soil retain water a little better.
I will try the vinegar for lowering the Ph and see how it does. If my PPM is high before I add nutrients . Is there a good way to lower it?
Thanks again for all the help, I greatly appreciate the insight. Hopefully I can grow some real buds this time around. happy growing everyone.

Great! Glad the lights can wait on an upgrade since they are expensive.  Thanks for all your help and all the info you post on youtube. Been very helpful and informative.

Thanks for your response and insight. I also had a question about lighting. The lights I am using in my tent are only 600 watt, I bought an LUX light meter and checked them at 100% brightness. If the meter was within 6 inches of the light it could get up to 55k LUX, which is 915 PPFD which should be enough for flowering. But if the probe is the recommended 12 – 16 inches away from the light like the canopy. It barley makes 33k LuX, 550 PPFD, not enough for flowering. So my question is do you think I can get away with keeping the lights on full blast that close to the canopy during flower? Or is it a wash and I have to buy a more powerful light? I have done 2 grows now, unsuccessfully unfortunately so I am trying to address every angle. Thanks for your response and any help. Happy growing.
