Stunted Easy Bud auto seedling

I’m totally new to growing. I started 2 auto seeds. Day 1 was June 1, and today is June 18. Both seem small to me, maybe 2 inches. The Northern Lights has about 5 tiers of leaves, but the Easy Bud has only rough, curled, deformed leaves at the top. See photo. I am growing outside and I put both plants in the bright sun from day 1. Mostly I kept both domed. The Easy Bud has a nick on its stem from the seed case which just wouldn’t let go.

Can anyone explain why this one is so stunted? Too much light too soon? Or is the damaged stem a factor.

I’m very careful not to overwater.

Sorry you never got a response to this. How is the plant looking now? How much water do you give the plant and how often? What grow light are you using and how far away is it from the top of the plants?

Sounds, stupid, but, try this! Try, Underwatering, further, and see if that helps coz the top inch looks damp. You want that to dry out completely(plant gets, used to, it) before watering again. And tip_dont water everyday. Wait til the top inch of soil or soilless mix feels dry then water. For sure, way, to grow.
