ParticipantThis is my first grow. Even with my humidifier running full blast 24/7, I can’t get the humidity in my tent consistently higher than about 45 %. I’ve been keeping the plastic bags over the seedlings and spraying them. Should I stop doing that now? Or when should I remove them?
Thank you!

ParticipantHello, whats your tent setup? Are you venting more air out then you should?

ParticipantThis is my set up, I have my heater blowing through some ducting at the bottom of the tent, so you may be right that I’m letting the humidity out. I move the heater closer or further away to regulate the temperature. Can you suggest a more efficient set up? I did take the bags off the seedlings. The other cup is a new seed. Thank you!

ParticipantThis is my set up. You are probably right. I have ducting in that bottom corner to let the heat from the heater in. I’ve been changing the distance of my heater to the tent to regulate the temperature. Do you know what I could do for a better set up? I took the bags off them. The cup with the bag is a new seed, one did not sprout.

ParticipantHi there sorry for the late response. Your posts didnt show up for me until now.
So lets start with your room temp. Without the heater, whats your temp outside the tent? Day and night
What is temp inside your tent when the lights are on without the heater?
What kind of exhaust fan are you using and can you adjust the speed?

ParticipantI just noticed your ac infinity HUMIDIFIER. Are you using the controller 69? So im assuming you have the 4 inch exhaust fan as well? If you do, have you setup the conrtoller fan speed?

KeymasterGood questions asked by @Silenttip .. Once we know those things we should be able to give more feedback.

ParticipantYou’re doing great! If your seedlings look healthy, you can start gradually removing the plastic bags over a few days to help them adjust to the lower humidity. Since 45% is a bit low, you can try placing bowls of water or a damp towel inside the tent to raise humidity. Keep an eye on them, and they should adapt just fine! 🌱

ParticipantI have a 6 inch cloudline fan. I’m at week two veg right now. I have tried so many different combinations on my controller, but I don’t know how to get both my temperature and humidity up. I am chasing my tail. When I turn the humidifier up high the temperature gets too low. Help please!
