I have 4 autos going right now that are in the first week of flower and the runoff Ec is high… 3.6+! Im feeding floraflex nutrients @ an input Ec of 2.1; so my question is when I water next do I use plain water or still use some nutrients but shoot for a lower input Ec? The plants look really healthy other then the very tip of a few leaves are curled down a little.
I use 60% Coco Loco, 20% Pot-ing mix from The Cannabis Supply store (Coco coir, peatmoss, perlite, nutrient rich compost), and 20% Silica Perlite. Is testing the Ec of a slurry more accurate then testing the runoff?
Yes, many people prefer a slurry test vs runoff since it can be more accurate. Although both ways won’t give you a 100% accurate measurement, it will give you a general idea what it is so you can make adjustments as necessary.
