First time grower looking for tips

First time grower here. Just looking for some solid tips and insights to benefit my first and future grows. As of now I have a mars hydro 3×3 tent, 6inch clip fan, 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter, smart controller from mars hydro to help with stabilizing my environment, humidifier and a 300 watt mars hydro FC-3000 evo light with dimmer. I know everyone says to hang the light at what the factory recommends but could someone give me heights for the certain stages and dimmer settings along with humidity temp and ideal vpd ranges for those stages. I will be growing both autoflowers and photoperiods. I have ocean forest perlite and coco coir added as a medium and 5 gallon fabric pots to start. And also water at a PH of 6.5 dechlorinated. Gaia greens 444 and 284 for dry amendments. Any tips and answers are greatly appreciated

I don’t have that grow light so it’s really difficult to tell you how much to dim and distance. I can tell you PPFD for different stages of growth, but you’d need either a PAR meter or phone app to measure the light level:
Seedlings/clones/mother plants: 200-400 PPFD
Veg stage: 400-600 PPFD
Flower stage: 600-900 PPFD

The above assumes 18/6 veg light cycle and 12/12 flower light cycle.

Temp 78-82°F into week 5 of flower, then 72-78°F for the remaining flower. The temp drop in late flower is to conserve terpenes.
VPD 0.8-1.0kPa for seedlings and veg, 1.2-1.6kPa in flower. Lately I’ve been narrowing it down to 1.4-1.6kPa in flowering in order to help prevent bud rot.
