<p style=”text-align: left;”>This is a Green Gelato autoflower in around 4 gallons of Roots organic 707 soil in 2×4 tent. Started watering with pond water then found it had a high ph so switched to 6.5 ro water during mid veg. Started noticing some spots during pre flower so feed about 1/3 serving of Gaia bloom and a little cal mag. Spots just kept getting more prominent over time but the buds are packing on very nicely. </p>

Looks like some fat buds! What is the pH and PPM of the soil runoff?

The 2 tops are getting pretty heavy. The water I’ve been giving is around 6.5 RO with some re charge here and there. As of right now I don’t have a way to check ppm or ph run off. Do you think there may have been a disturbance when switching from the high alkaline pond water to 6.5 ro? The plant did great in the soil up until pre flower and noticed signs before any feedings.

They should be fine with the 6.5 RO; so the switch shouldn’t cause issues. Unfortunately, without the PPM measurement, we are just guessing what the problem could be. It could be too low of PPM indicating it needs a feeding, or too high of PPM causing a nutrient lockout. Without the pH measurement, we don’t know if the medium is in the acceptable range for nutrient uptake. If the pH in the medium is too high or too low, you could get nutrient lockout and see deficiencies.
