Hi new grower here. Im growing auto’s inĀ  Coco coir and into first week of flower the liquid nutrients chart im using shows to stop calmag. My understanding is I no longer need calcium my question is should I now add epsom salts to maintain magnesium uptake?

Which nutrient lineup are you using? In coco, many give CalMag throughout the entire grow. I’d use epsom salt for the first few weeks of flower only; I personally avoid spraying anything in flower as much as possible. How does the plant look? Got a pic?

Thank you for the responce. Im using Shogun Liquid Nutrient. Now the plant has started flowering Im using Sumo active boost, Warrior PK and Dragon force when required by the shogun chart. I was concerned about the cessation of calmag in the chart because im using coco coir. Im guessing I only need Epsom salts if the plant shows deficiencies. Your advise would be welcome. ng sumo active booster, warrior pk and dragon force when required by the shogun chart.

I’ve never heard of that nutrient line before. You very well may be able to get away without it if that’s what the feeding chart calls for. Yes, epsom salt as an alternative measure only if needed imo.
