I have a stock of seeds from a failed grow that turbed out to germinate just fine, but 3 out of the 4 planted, went right to preflower at the second node near the third week since sprouting.
At the forth week it was apparent the plants were in full flower despite them being of a photoperiod strain and grown under an 18/6 schedule.
Of the three, 2 were pollen producers and the other a flower maker. I kept one of each and by week five, the pollen sacs were fully matured and bursting. At week six the flower maker was fully pollinated and left in the light by itself.
week 3 = November 30
week 5 = December 15
week 6 = December 23
It is now the beginning of the fourth week of seed development, some issues with soil ph(I suspect), had caused nutrient lockout, iron deficiencies and the last of the stigma that sprouted after pollination to wither and dry off.
I may or, may not have made the correct adjustments with wood ash, fast acting lime and a change to a constant feeding just today, but the plant moves so quick that I can probably already pick through it and find a mature and viable seed to plant.
Little is yet known of what to expect of the spawns, but since I still have more potential parent seeds, and that those produced 3 out of 4 plants thar went directly into flower, I thought conversations would be worth stoking.
I can post some more images if there is an interest, but for right now I just have the end of January as the potential harvest point for the flower maker and all the seeds.
It is kind of a peculiar situation and I will have to wait until the 2nd generation(growing now) reveals whether or not Marijuana has made some evolutionary advance, but I still have more of the parent seeds that I am hungry to grow.

This is fully grown week 6.
So, I know this is going to be hard to accept at first.
People are going to want to say this plant was flipped to flower, or grown under 12/12 from seed, and that is why it went flower and is so small.
It is was a seed November 5th.
Light was 18/6 from that time and all the way into December 23, as shown.
Both of the plants in this picture were planted November 5th and went directly into flower under 18/6.
The one in back on this picture is the one that is shown on December 23rd.
This grow session was four seeds from the same parent plant and three of them went immediately into flower.
I mean to emphasize my awareness of the situation. Perhaps a few good questions might help bring more attention to the reality I am claiming.
I am a new grower. You should see what the plant looks like right now. It ran ran out of iron, it had(still has) 3k tds runoff, it was in the soil with a ph so much lower than the color strip on the test strips package that I can only quess it was in the lower 5, it had no overhead light since December 15th, it was fed with a aingle source all purpose fertilizer base of 20.20.20. and it was heavily. heaviliy(heavily)…pollinated.
December 23rd was about the last day it appears in pictured to be of higher-earning condition, and by January 3rd I was racing to try to correct it all.
1. has anyone ever seen preflower on node 2
I guess there is only one question worth asking for now.
There is a bit of an update on further researching this occurrence. I had successfully bred two plants(both exhibiting Node-2 preflower and full flower mode), as on January 12th the first sprout of thirty seeds planted was found.
Since January 12th, there has been many sprouts, but here is the first.
