    Hi All!

    Just got the book. Nice job. Learned something the first time I opened it. Thanks for the hard work.

    My questions. Are the PPM levels given in the book in 500 or 700 scale?

    Also, most of the PPM levels I see in your forum don’t give a scale. Are you all talking in 500 or 700 (EC would be less confusing)?

    Don’t want to go down that “lost in translation” hole (again).

    500 scale in the book; I need to specify that in the next version. In general, 500 scale for North America and 700 scale is mostly used in Europe. I totally get what you mean where it can get lost in translation. EC would definitely make it less confusing lol

    Here in Minnesota it’s about 50/50 so I learned to always ask. My grow shops mostly use 700.

    Maybe put a conversion chart (EC -500-700) in the next revision? I keep one taped to the wall.

    I lived out your way for many a moon (Blue Diamond). The Valley just got too crowded so I moved up here.

    Absolutely. Not sure when the next revision will be though.

    Yeah this city is getting more and more crowded. Traffic is nuts and construction is always slowing things down. Oh well
