Just curious, how does moonlight affect growth? And if it does why isn’t it simulated indoors as well?

Moonlight doesn’t supplement growth. It’s not copied indoors because light leaks indoors cause herming. Dr. Bugbee has done testing on photosensitivity in plants. I believe cannabis is the most sensitive plant they have tested for light sensitivity. Think poinsettias are number 2.

“Plants cannot carry out photosynthesis in moonlight because it does not carry enough energy to excite chlorophyll molecule, i.e., reaction centres PS I and PS II, so light-dependent reactions does not get initiated. Thus, no photosynthesis occurs in presence of moonlight.” Source: https://byjus.com/question-answer/does-moonlight-support-photosynthesis-find-out/
