Hello, I’m going to be using molasses for the first time. I have learned that you add approximately a tablespoon per gallon to your water and simply feed it to your plants by watering. My question is to you experienced growers who have been using molasses, do you add it separately from your nutrient mix or do you just add it right to all your other nutrients when you’re watering?
I use it separately. So when using bottled nutrients, I’ll typically do the water-feed-water-feed technique; so between feedings is when I give molasses.
