Has anyone else used this light, I know it runs hot but I’ll be running c02, is the light gonna be strong enough in a 4x4x6.7ft, if the manufacturer par grade is right? Any help would be awesome

Is this the one you are talking about? https://amzn.to/45naRcl

Yes only the 3000w one it says on light it pulls 426w, I only paid 150 for it but I’m very curious if it’s a good light or not. I feel like the low setting color is off just slightly but the strong setting turns the 4 cob lights on and it truly puts out the power but I’m very curious.

    Here are my notes:

    • Spectrum looks fine for plant growth
    • Looks like old school technology w/ Veg&Bloom switch and “blurple” spectrum
    • Uses active cooling instead of passive so there is a chance for a cooling fan to break and render the light useless.
    • Doesn’t specify what diode brand is used.
    • PAR chart doesn’t show what the area is, maybe 3’x3′? Light drops off significantly it as moves towards corners.
    • Doesn’t list PPF.
    • Lists 2.7 umol/j (which is pretty good) but I have a feeling that’s the diode efficiency and not total unit efficiency.
    • Doesn’t specify what driver(s) are used.
    • Specifying LED power as 1000W is a misleading tactic. Actual power draw then says 230W
    • Price seems right for this technology

If you’re on a budget and just looking to get by with decent plant growth then this light should be fine for that.
